NewUsername 11,631
A hard one, but I think Abracadabra takes this one! Edited November 24, 2025 by NewUsername
Sylvia Browne 2,677
Abracadabra is a much more interesting song in terms of song structure and her vocal capabilities. Judas is forever iconic. As is Bad Romance. But Abracadabra is the final evolution of her signature formula. 2

MOT 3,376
As a latecomer to the Gaga party, unencumbered by any of the 'it was better in the old days' stuff; I feel that I am in a good position to be fair about this .... Abra is better, it has a better flow, it is a better sonic experience. 2
Massive Monster 5,089
I never really liked Judas. If Bad Romance didn't exist perhaps it would be something. But it's a pale and cheap copy of it's predecessor's formula with weaker production and lyrics. Abracadabra on the other hand is a new show stopping classic, an event, a true comeback. Gaga literally works here magic yet again and shows us her bran new trick. It fuses somewhat nostalgic techno production, Eurodance, house and opera. It's a hard hitting tour de force with rather wordy and sometimes nonsensical lyrics which are somehow earworms. It even has a Siouxsie and the Banshees sample. That post chorus is a hook for the ages. Abracadabra screams Gaga in every possible way, it has her dark pop signature all over it. They contain a lot of the same composite pieces (intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, post-chorus x2 bridge, final chorus), but Abra has two pre-choruses and ends on the chorus, whereas Judas only has one and ends on hook 2/post-chorus. Abra’s bridge also ends with a melodic hook (the “operatic” section) whereas Judas’ bridge transitions from a rap/dance breakdown into a plaintive/dramatic sung section so the bridge is divided into two distinct parts (which is closer to BR than it is Abra). I get what you’re saying, but they don’t have the exact same structure, Miz D*ck Edited November 25, 2025 by Ladle Ghoulash We have forgotten our public MANNERS
AndiGaga 7,036
I love Judas. But Abracadabra is an experience like no other. It has all of the elements a Gaga banger needs, its fcking unique but also her signature style simultaniously, its just perfect. Her best song ever, also better than BR and PF, the production is perfection
Knife 6,986
Abracadabra clears. I didn't like Judas when it came out and only long after its release did I warm to it. 1 1
