Because she was a ruler of Egypt, there will be a lot of people saying that Cleopatra should be played by an Egyptian woman. Whether or not that matches the facts of who she is is irrelevant. The optics would not look good.

Oh dear on social media a few months ago when rumors about Gaga playing Cleopatra started, people were complaining in the comments considering Gaga is white

I'd love her to do some voice acting for an animated movie, playing a villain of sorts. Imagine a Gaga villain song

Outside of that, If she wants to, I'd love for her to just chill out for the next few years, she's given us so much to enjoy recently

Then tbh im fine with a movie first or another album. But if its a movie I want it to be a major role in something well thought out. 

 

We got 2 poorly made movies in a row (even tho Gaga did her part well) we dont need a 3rd

2026-Mayhem EP extension and tour wrap up. Last major pop era for awhile with tour. 

2027- Lead Actress role in major film. Mariah x Gaga Halloween x Christmas Vegas show. Gaga and Mariah trade off performing their Halloween and Christmas classics as well as major hits and duets between the two. Maybe an original song as well as a storyline tying it all together. 

2028- New album and pregnancy era. More stripped back album(piano, Jazz and R&B driven) that can be easily performed while pregnant. Thinking an album that really pushes herself vocally, her pianist skills, songwriting, and composer skills. A few major spots such as Olympics and World Cup promo but not an intensive promo cycle. No major tour. 
 

2029-2032- voice acting projects and soundtrack singles in animated films and videogames (Nintendo universe and Studio Ghibli) culminating in a Disney animated musical that has a Broadway adaption she is heavily involved in all aspects of the film and Broadway musical having lead roles in both. Maybe an album release in 2030-2031 that also doesn’t have a major promo cycle or tour and is more artistically driven. Maybe small roles on TV series or movies. However, these roles are well suited for her to prioritize her family without major traveling and long intensive work stretches/commitments. 
 

2033- her major return to her Pop roots with a more involved era and her distinct sound established in TF/TFM/BTW/ARTPOP/Mayhem/Total Mayhem. 
 

2034/2035- marks her returns to doing live action major acting roles.

I know this might not be that fun for non US fans. But personally, I aam looking forward to book a ticket to Broadway for her

And who knows, it might extends to West End in England too

This rumor has been circulating for years now, and I assure you, there are people who are confused about it because they think Cleopatra should be played by an Egyptian. 

I also think we have a fundamental disagreement on how many people actually know Cleopatra's ethnicity. I think the layperson thinks she's fully Egyptian.
