Doesn’t Trump have to sign off on this?  I guess if he does, he’s screwed, but then again, if he doesn’t, he’s probably equally screwed because it will scream guilt.

That is why he is having Bondi launch an investigation because the DOJ won't be able to release the files, which is similar to why they weren't released during Biden's term because of Ghislaine (don't know how to spell her name but she doesn't deserve my time trying to figure it out) being prosecuted.
