If you would’ve told me 10 years ago Nicki Minaj (the biggest female rapper at the time) would’ve ended up as a paedo defender and far right activist I would’ve never believed it.

good to know you can still make a complete ass out of yourself online and then like, a month later still be invited to do seemingly important things

With this administration, that’s actually the preferred template for advancement

I would've believed it. She has always seemed shady and problematic. The type of person I would not want as a friend because I know that as soon as you do or say something she doesn't agree with, she'd completely flip on you.

Her character has never been the best, however I never thought she’d go this far.

I think its finally time to wear that ear condom Gaga told us about like 14,5 years ago.

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

Can someone with a strong stomach watch this and tell us what she said, I don't have the mental strength to process this kind of bs firsthand, but I'm still low-key curious :flippy:

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

What does the Bible say about murder, rape, pedophiles, drugs, lies, using money to silence victims, and jealousy?

She thanks Waltz and Trump for being given the opportunity to speak. She thanks Trump for wanting to defend Christians in Nigeria. She then says she's so proud to live in a country that allows you to practice whatever religion you want and that we're beyond thinking that everyone should think the same way. She says that Christians in Nigeria have had their churches burned, driven from their homes and killed and that this is a problem in other countries too. She says that it's not about taking sides and that everyone should have the freedom to practice whatever religion they choose and standing up against injustice and that she'll stand up for anyone who's being persecuted for their beliefs. She's grateful to be among faith leaders, peace builders, etc who saw violence and chose not to look the other way. She ends it by bringing up the barbz and that she loves them and that they've been the ultimate light in her career.

It was very short and didn't actually say anything other than "this has to stop." She doesn't offer solutions or anything so I don't really know what the point of her doing this was apart from bringing some celebrity flavour and clout to proceedings. To mention her fans was so self-serving and I'm surprised she was allowed to be bring up something like that which bore no relevance to the matter at hand.
