PartySick 162,817
I'm really striking out here Ā Minecraft is completely broken 'cause Microsoft doesn't know how to manage Mojang/Bedrock edition. Bethesda has gone off the deep end and broken my favorite game, Fallout 4, AGAIN, by shoving micro transactions into a single player game and selling a decade old game for $60. Bethesda's also been extremely lazy with Fallout 76. Usually the community is enough, but I'm tired of having to basically "pay to win" in that game. I cancelled my Fallout 1st. Might pick it up again in a few months when I have stuff to catch up on. Rockstar keeps pushing GTA6 back...it should have been out already but now we have to wait another YEAR Ā And f*ckass Nintendo...I can't even look at a Pokemon game without cringing due to their greed and maliciousness. Legends ZA looks awful, I'm not even considering buying it. I also cancelled my Nintendo online. So I'm struggling Ā the only games I can touch right now are No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077. As much as I love those studios and those games, a gay is bored Ā I've been playing Palworld too (take that, Nintendass) but I need varietyyyy. Any of y'all have recommendations? Ā I'm on PS5 and bored Ā pls help Ā You're stinky

Caldy 79
Elden Ring is a masterpiece if you are willing to suffer and play a brutally difficult game, easily 200 hours worth of gameplay if you are willing to tough it out to the endĀ Heard really great things for Clair Expedition 33, Ghost of Yotei, Metaphor Refantazio, but haven't personally played any of themĀ I would also recommend Metal Gear Solid Delta if you never played the original Metal Gear Solid 3, easily one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking stories ever told through videogamesĀ Edited 7 hours ago by Caldy grammar

Head Empty 25,385
I finished Expedition 33 recently and its the best turn based combat I've ever played. The story is also brilliant. Highly recommend.

Poltergeist 3,726
If you're into turn-based combat (or semi-turn-based) and great stories: - Baldur's Gate 3, probably the best game I've ever played, tons of replayability, doesn't lead you by hand, but can also be a bit intimidating at first. I've tried to get into it 3 times, felt like it was too unclear, but actually it just gives you so many possibilities on literally every step - As some people have mentioned before - Expedition 33 - GOTY, beautiful story, engaging gameplay, satisfying character upgrades, beautiful music - Final Fantasy 7 - both remakes, 2nd might be one of my favorite games ever. While the first game is very linear and takes place in a city, 2nd one gives you a beautiful, open world, the story is super engaging, the characters are lovable, I rarely cry when playing games, this one has squeezed lots of tears (and there are 2 songs there which I can't listen to, cause I automatically cryĀ ) - Dragon Quest - honestly any game, but I mostly recommend XI - it's the game that got me into the whole JRPG genre, beautiful, huge game - Persona V - JRPGĀ and a social sim. While that 2nd part wasn't really for me, I grew to like it, because the characters were so engaging, also your social stats highly influence your combat as well. And then you can play any other Persona, Metaphor Refantazio (or you can start with this one, as it's way more RPG and social sim part almost fully goes away) Ā If you have some spare money. I hiiiiighly recommend getting a PSVR2. That's the most amazing gaming experience I've ever had. I never dreamed of having such a technology at my own home. Just Beat Saber makes it worth it for me (especially if you buy the cable to connect your PSVR2 to PC - then you can download songs made by others!), as a fan of horror games, getting inside Resident Evil games is my best gaming memory ever! Ā I've been getting messages from my deep waters
