The pigeons we see in cities are descendants of domesticated pigeons. I know they are annoying, but humans domesticated them and then later discarded them.

Thought funnily a similar thing happened to me before a date, which ended up being a complete shitshow  should have canceled and went str8 to the dry cleaners

I mean I did walk out of the arena thinking that I'd never see her again unless she evolved so we're not too different there.

plus they’re cute yeah nothing against an animal but the ones that are in big cities like NYC or LA or Paris are hella dirty and gross because they are basically on the ground with urine, feces and puke ewww

nature or zoo ones are ok

but I’ve never seen a pigeon abandoned or abused so yeah, Sarah, hold onto your knickers ma’am.
