ChromaticaBoy 1,041
Hi everybody, Some weeks ago I went to the Mayhem Ball in Milan N2 and it was just phenomanal. I was willing to write a post about my experience, but I had just too much to say, because it was THAT good. So, because I’m very busy atm, I wasn’t able to do that, but I really wanted to make a new thread where anybody that attended the concert could share unique opinions, details and insights about their own date. So, I’ll start with a couple of mine and I would really like to read about yours! - At first, from the videos, I was unsure about the post credit part with HBDYWM, but when I experienced that in person, my opinion completely changed. I thought it was unique and genious. In that final moment, when Gaga appears without makeup or staging, the magic doesn’t fade, it becomes real. What once felt like a dream turns tangible and you realize that behind such a grand spectacle stands a real, vulnerable, and brilliant person who makes humanity itself part of her art. And using HBDYWM for this moment was just genious. - This is more about the audience but anyway, I loved to see how diverse the demographic was: I could see people from 14-15 all the way to 70-75. Also, even those filming were dancing, because you just couldn’t stay still. And countless others were dancing and singing without worrying about their phones. Some even making whole a** collective choreos in GC. There were incredible moments of collective unity. A truly extraordinary audience I’m proud to have been part of. Gaga even said she heard us from backstage before starting and she said she couldn’t wait to come on stage. What about yours?
River 119,184
What amazed me actually was that everybody knew the lyrics to the new songs from Mayhem, you would expect that casuals would just know the early hits and some singles here and there, but to hear everyone singing all the songs from Mayhem, was pretty shocking and amazing at the same time. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy 2

I think music charts are broken nowadays and we underestimate the impact MAYHEM had globally
andy232000 12,501
My insight is that Applause is THAT BITCH and the arena went batshit crazy when it played. Not even Abra had that level of energy! My second insight is that this tour deserves to be watch by everyone so go and give my videos a view!!! I work hard on them and Gagadaily ignores 2 3
BeyonkaAte 600
the one thing i noticed during my show (Toronto N2 - surprise piano song Hair, debut performance of TDD during Act III, bow song Black Jesus Amen Fashion) : the Mistress of Mayhem gets a leitmotif ! As a musical nerd i loved that detail, every time she appears on stage or on screen or she interacts with Gaga, there's a specific melody/musical score to accompagny her, and it's recurring throughout the entire show. 2
Future Lovers 7,139
My insights are that you better hope you’re never at the Kaseya Center when a gig gets cancelled because the arena staff are going to treat you like garbage
ImMatt 1,853
SO many small details I loved... Firstly this in the entrance in the London shows, I'm not sure if this was at other locations too but it's a lovely touch to make people feel they've ARRIVED. Then there's the light up wristbands which we never had at Chromatica Ball...the opera soundtrack before you start. The messages on the screen entertaining everyone while you wait... Then, the way the wristbands lit up at the start like it was a wave across the arena. The beginning with the dancers in red popping up either side of the arena...before the grand opening where the catwalk lights trickled down to the front of the stage. And the LIGHTING. The lighting was utterly PHENOMENAL. I've never seen anything like it. The animations around the opera house too (smoke, fire, sand...) on the big screen. Plus at the very end, I'm not sure how many people noticed, but in the final act there were small little nods to the rest of the show in shadows on the screen (e.g. the gondola, the bird cage dress). I can't find a picture, but it was definitely there I could go on and on and on. The small details of this show was what made it for me and I love the time and care they took for every tiny piece. It really makes a difference 1
TEANUS 15,760
Probably thanks to her versatility in the last decade and her wide appeal, most of the audience knows at least one song that might not be one of her biggest hits. If they don’t know Marry The Night, they know Starstruck, if they don’t know G.U.Y., they know Million Reasons, if they don’t know her as the “rah rah girl” they know her as the talented singer that Tony Bennett and other legends chose to collab with. It’s crazy just how engaged her audiences are compared to that of other artists who’s work might only be focused really in one sonic space or genre Edited 1 hour ago by TEANUS British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
Biagio2103 6,503
[Manchester N1] I watched Gagachella and obviously Gagacabana, so I kind of knew the show, but when she announced the actual tour, I didn't watch any videos nor read too much about the changes. The first act was my absolute favorite, the energy was crazy, the looks, the choreo, and everyone was living their best life. My throat was killing me by the end of Scheisse, that's how much I was screaming. In the second act, the inclusion of LoveGame actually caught me by surprise, I was like gurl I don't remember you singing this, but everyone was still dancing and having a good time For act III, I was also surprised when Just Dance started playing, and I think the whole arena was as well, I literally thought the arena was going to collapse when everyone starting jumping. Somewhere between the interludes, the story started to get deeper and deeper, and at times I found myself confused of everything that was happening. When Mistress of Mayhem came out in the massive red dress with the sound of Abra in the background, I was literally speechless, then Gaga started singing Million Reasons and all of the sudden, everything made sense in my head. How the two parts needed each other to coexist, and if one hurt the other, they would both suffer (I was mind blown). I got Dance in the Dark as a surprise song and it's probably the song that hit me the most, because of all of my insecurities, and also because it's top 5 favorite songs from Gaga of all times. Then we got Speechless and the whole crowd was singing alone, it was pure magic. Shallow and Die with the Smile were also incredible moments, I couldn't stop crying. Then, Gaga performed my favorite song of all times. Bad Romance. It was in that moment where I realized I was in the presence of Gaga, and she was giving it all. Everything I went through was worth it, just to live that moment. I also knew I was getting Teeth as the outro song (my least favorite song from TFM), but the second it started playing I was screaming at the top of my lungs lol I'm only good at being bad 1
Elizabeth 531
The storyline and theatricality of it all was fantastic, she is truly at her best with this show! I was glad that I kept spoilers at a minimum for myself before I went so it was mostly a surprise...but this also has made me really really want to go to another show so I can take it all in again and notice some of the details I'd have missed the first time round. Of course I am biased as a monster, but when it comes to performing live I really don't think anyone does it quite like Gaga!
