She played, experimented, and had fun with Motomami (which I love — one of my favorite albums ever), but LUX is pure craftswomanship in its musical finesse, engaging more than just the senses: true emotions and a spiritual experience — a very personal and generous way to show us how much of an artist she truly is. I was afraid it was going to sound like Berghain in its entirely (not that it was bad but kinda too heavy to listen on the daily basis) so I was happily surprised at first listen because it still has pop melodies and pretty much the same overall vibe from her previous records especially El Mal Querer It feels very Bjork-coded as a whole, it gives Homogenic vibes Reliquia is my favorite song on the album 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
