Looking at this composition, Luther may take home ROTY/SOTY. Gaga has the edge with AOTY. 

There are FOUR, strong and viable Rap/RnB contendors which will peel votes away from Kendick. 

No pop voter in their right mind will vote for Sabrina or Justin Bieber over Gaga. Wild card is Bad Bunny but I think pop voters will stand behind Gaga in droves, in addition to some goodwill hopefully from the Jazz base.

Am I wrong that I have a feeling that musicians still kinda undervalue pop (or maybe specifically Gaga?). I don't keep up with awards that much and I'm trying to have a read of the voters vibe a little bit, can someone who follow this closely give more insights on how the voters tend to approach things, like how they view is a deserving factor for a record to get their vote. And how they tend to read Gaga? Like on a scale from "amazing goddess musicianship trough the roof" to "try hard boring pop gays are annoying"?

"The Subway" is another great surprise

having a great first performance that stays with voters can really do wonders for an artist in the long term, even for their less successful works (same with Miley)

Because Bieber is way more famous, the Grammys are fame-whores. Conan deserved some love for this excellent album.

Luther can get SOTY, idc if we have to sacrifice one... But Gaga should take ROTY and AOTY

This feels like a reasonable analysis although I’m really hoping Abra gets at least one of them too. I like Sabrina but the fact that everyone was saying she would get an AOTY nomination before her album had even been released, just due to her fame and the release date, makes the whole Grammy situation so sus.  If you’re famous and beloved at the moment you can expect a nomination. It clearly was not the “album of the year”. I hope the pop voters don’t split the pop vote too much and recognize that it’s really Gaga’s year.

There's no tour category at the Grammys  They didn't nominate Abracadabra for MV and I haven't heard about Album Cover

I don't know if country voters will mainly vote for Sabrina either given the whole trad-wife thing she does lol... so there's also that piece that could be a wildcard. Gaga needs the full support of Pop and another large body like Jazz... I think we'll see if all these years of making jazz music with Tony pays off awards-wise.
