I don't really buy that reasoning,  since the rest of the promo team able to show up in Brazil. If the press junket is cancelled cos none of them can come then maybe what you said is true.

But the issue is Ari's flight had to go through a safety inspection. That meant that they were caught out last minute and organising last minute travel replacements can be dicey when everything is working perfectly. Not sure how you expect them to fasttrack government paperwork etc when there's no staff available.

Also there's nothing to say the entire wicked cast were all getting on that flight, it'd be strange if they were. Ari finished filming on a film on Friday, none of the other wicked cast were in that film so why would they have the same schedules?
