Even Bloody Mary has a "Glow In The Dark Vinyl" Not selling Abra & TDD physicals was just unprofessionalism for their part. Even Capitol records sold Woman's World physicals & had pre-order for like 2 weeks, Interscope has no excuse here.

A boost on Spotify is cute, but it’s not enough. Songs jump hundreds of spots for the most random reasons, you’d think Halloween, the second most important holiday, would be doing way more than that. And the fact that it’s only one day, yes, ONE day, makes it even worse. The buzz should be starting in September, let’s be real. And I’m sorry, but I have to say it: I blame the gays (therefore all GGD). The straights get over two months of their Christian, heteronormative holiday and we can't even extend the impact of Halloween for like, two weekends? Abracadabra deserved better Trunk or Treat effectively killed Halloween as a actual "season". Less trick or treaters = less decorating = less holiday spirit. Not being in a recession definitely helps but at the end of the day, trunk or treat will continue to take away trick or treating because parents have found the most lazy way to get their kids candy. 2 hours ago, gerrygaga said: Even Bloody Mary has a "Glow In The Dark Vinyl" Not selling Abra & TDD physicals was just unprofessionalism for their part. StrawberryBlond 14,966
While its a hit amongst fans, there's every chance TDD could go viral next year or the year after. With TikTok, anything's possible now. Ellie Goldstein danced to Abracadabra on Saturday's Strictly show and even though she did great, she ended up in the bottom 2 so had to dance it again tonight (this weirdly keeps happening when contestants dance to Gaga songs) but the bonus is, we get to hear it again! So it can help the public to become aware and start streaming. I was hoping there would be a professionals group dance to The Dead Dance but it wasn't to be. Considering there's already been 2 Gaga songs used this season and both have been from Mayhem, I think the show didn't want to oversaturate itself. Though if it had been a bigger hit, there could've been a chance. It's a joy to see Gaga's music be associated with a holiday. As we've seen with Mariah, when that happens, it ingrains you in the public consciousness for life and makes you a stone cold legend. As someone who's been bingeing my Halloween playlist for the last few days, I can't fathom how there's people who aren't aware of the iconic songs on that list. They're played at literally every Halloween party, retail outlet, popular radio station and in major media pieces at this time every year. I don't know how you've not heard them, not even accidentally. You don't have to go looking for them, they find you!

I don't listen to radio anymore, and my Spotify & Youtube activity is pretty much Gaga stuff exclusive so she will be #1 on my year-end lists/Spotify wrapped. Maybe those songs actually found me as I saw those titles on playlists, but I avoid playing them so i really do not know or not even aware what they sound like.
