Anderson123 39,040 Posted yesterday at 07:10 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:10 PM People forget that at the end of the day it’s Gaga’s decision what ends up on the album from the hundreds of ideas she gets and many artists do this with pitched demos, instrumentals, etc. stuff that is just sitting there for months and even years. Being said that, the only ones we know were recorded before her are the ones already mentioned. I think Sine From Above is the one they changed the most for obvious reasons. I’d be interested to know if there are more songs she didn’t start from scratch with the lyrics.

In interviews, she explained that the title came from her own creative concept — a world or planet she imagined, centered on healing, kindness, and music. The name reflects the idea of chromatic musical scales (all colors and tones), symbolizing inclusivity and emotional range. “You can't hide who you are, 11:59 Your heart's racin', you're growlin' and we both know why“

The songs, to me, definitely feel like Gaga had a major hand in writing and shaping them, but I could be wrong. Interesting cause to me the instrumental sounds 100% Tame Impala. The melody and lyrics are very Gaga. I never thought they mashed very well actually. The instrumental to me gets lost too much. I never listen to it, but live it sounds amazing because the pounding base and Gagas intense delivery really hyped me up. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

There’s a good fusion of their styles in the instrumental, but I agree that the way that it’s mixed leads to a lot of finer elements (the synth bells, synth strings etc) getting lost. But you saying the lyrics and melody are very Gaga are what I mean: I think the OP is somewhat implying that PI was given to Gaga more or less as a fully realized song and she only made minor tweaks and I honestly have a hard time believing that.
