Part of all that Blake Lively stuff from earlier this year mentioned how easy it was to start an astro turf hate campaign against her because the internet is just chomping at the bit to hate on any woman - especially ones who are speaking out against a famous man that people like

Obviously this is not a good thing for Lily to have done, but idk how organic any posts like this are knowing how much money goes into ruining/protecting a celeb's reputation and finding ways to seed a hate/support campaign. These crisis PR teams find a couple bad tweets and then misogyny does the rest

Lily has had many messy moments in the past and has been a highly self-critical person. I agree that this was a sh*tty idea although her heart was at the right place but this resurfacing now is either PR from her ex or (more likely lol) the swifties who got threatened by the critical acclaim she's receiving. I've been a fan of hers longer than I stanned Gaga, and yes she's a brat and a half, but she's not a bad person guys.

And regarding the nepo baby allegations, yes her parents are quite famous and she got her first record deal through his dad's connections (which she admits) - but got dropped after his dad's connection left the company and then got signed with Parlophone after she got noticed on MySpace.  It's not exactly a Nancy Sinatra tea.

She had body issues for ages and did rehab too so I doubt she’d make fun of a person for getting there. Knowing her she’s just asking cuz she thinks she also needs a trip to one (her deranged sense of humor, I know).

Yeah, it was absolutely in bad taste. I won’t argue that a bit. I don’t even like Lily like that so I probably dragged her when it was new. But we also already had this conversation in 2014. Do we really need to be having it again just because she put an album out?

If people actually gave a **** about stuff like this they wouldn’t wait until a new album drops to bring stuff up. It’s just a stupid ass stan mentality of any moment someone has any sort of success they have to be brought down a peg. Anyone who participates in it isn’t an absolute ****ing idiot.
