Femme Fatale aged badly to my ears.

So... Glory :vegas:

I still listen and enjoy Clumsy, Do You Wanna Come Over and Change Your Mind

Femme Fatale for Hold It Against Me and Criminal alone!

I can barely remember any song from Glory

Her last great album was Circus though, my favourite

Femme Fatale by farrrrrr

Criminal is THAT song. I remember hearing it for the first time. I was listening to the car radio while dreaming about the future Marry The Night video when it suddenly played, and I was like “ooo this is good!”

FF is one of her weaker albums in my opinion (its still good), even though it revived her career all over again.

With the release of Scary, I've been rediscovering FF lately, so many bops! I think Glory is a overall better album, but FF has better standouts/singles :staymad:

FF sounds so it’s time and it aged very badly, the good songs are some of her best, but it‘s so artificial and far too early 2010s at points. Glory fits into her discography way better and flows way better with her other records, but the era was not really great.

Very hard to pick, since both do have positives and negatives, but I think I‘ll pick Glory.

What do you mean revive her career? Womanizer, Circus, If You Seek Amy and 3 were all hits in the 2/3 years before the release of FF, she was doing great :grr:

Femme Fatale gets a bed rep for being uninventive but it did its job - it had an electro-dance direction and was full of bangers. I loved it.

I loved Glory because Britney was so hands on with it and it felt like it had songs for everyone.

But I think that I’d choose Femme Fatale because it felt like the last proper Britney era that we got from her in regards to music videos and tour production.

Glory is a much better album and closer to In The Zone which is my favorite. Femme Fatale does have the bops but it has that generic Dr. Luke sound all over it.

Femme Fatale vs. Blackout would be a difficult decision because both are just bop after bop. Glory has its moments too, but can't compete with either one of them imo.

Plus FF was released in 2011, just 2 months before BTW and ca. half a year after Teenage Dream, the US president was not an insane person and those were really good times! :flutter:
