Okay now THIS is madness   touring the world and sharing live music with the world is the whole point. I'm mad at the prices of tours now because it prevents regular working class people from experiencing the absolute magic of live music (which I think should be a human right, because enjoying music together has been a cornerstone of humankind since the beginning of our existence). Music videos are fun but that is certainly not what making music is all about

It definetly helped the album, it cannot be denied, but we all know that it was a strategic move... DWAS doesn't belong to Mayhem. I truly know it. I'm done with GP friendly Gaga. I don't care about their acceptance now they know Gaga's talent nor their opinion about her. I'm mad this morning.

edit: i mean, the logistics of traveling are probably time consuming, like shipping stuff, the actual traveling, customs, security... I've never traveled so I'm talking out of my ass but like imagine all the props and stage stuff they have to lug across the country.

I believe Live Nation deals with all this and not her team.

We all know it doesn't belong! It's so disconected from the album, not just sonically it also from the era itself. It came out from nowhere 10 months before so —Thanks God— it wasn't on the deadline for this year's awards. BTW Bruno and his producer already told the story that they called Gaga to show her the idea. It's true that she wrote lyrics and music scales. But I cannot help thinking it ruins Mayhem mood for me. I feel robbed from the Mayhem experience. I cant believe we just received some capcut edits for those amazing songs.

Its in part because the stan culture is built around the way artists appeal to social groups. So the success of an artist becomes a quantifier of your social group's popularity etc (think Highschool cliques) and the failures of your fave artist becomes a "failure" of your identity. 
Its why you see this kind of behaviour so heavily around artists that appeal to specific groups e.g. goths, rockers, chavs, skaters, stoners, indie kids, gay kids etc

Yes, Bruno started to work on it, but then they worked on it together, just like every 2 artists who creates music, works on their duets.

It's Bruno's decision to hand the song to Gaga and it might even be part of his new album anyway.

Someone in her team definitely works closely with them though- and she is most likely involved and going to meetings to discuss logistics. I'm sure its a whole meeting just to decide where to include TDD because it changes the cues that the entire staff has to learn that evening

We have been fed so well this era. Sometimes when I'm listening to Abracadabra it hits me that Lady Gaga released this in 2025 and completely re-peaked, its actually insane. The tour is getting crazy praise in every city she attends, and she is getting so much Grammy buzz. I think the campaigning will increase from here, that Abracadabra song podcast was amazing and such a smart idea.

The one thing that I think could help with I think the perceived 'low point' of this era is if she had a better social team. This would barely even take any effort on her part. Chappell Roan posts amazing videos after every show that usually go viral. Charli XCX, Taylor Swift, Beyonce would usually make an insta post after every show with amazing pictures from said show. If we had something like that, or even cute little backstage "photoshoots" from different cities, I think it would help make the era feel more "alive" while on tour. It would be cool if there was an official MAYHEM Ball Instagram account, like Sweat tour, where they post fan outfits, different cute posters for each show and city, etc. That being said, tour is really the best promo and the cities feel the HYPE. Something that has such low effort but bigger returns would be posting Paparazzi/street pictures, she looked so sickening walking in and out of Colbert and really only fans saw it. This era is EVERYTHING, but I think this one small thing could really help!

It's all relative. She had an absolutely high-flying incredible year. She's been busy touring - so of course it is going to feel a bit less than what she has done/given us over the course of the last year. But in no way is she seen as less relevant.

This era was already tons more than Chromatica for example. Do I wish we got at least one more single or music video? Yes, but I'm really glad Abracadabra got its chance to shine.

One of the only things I wish for is that she gets more magazine covers. It’s strange that she only covered Elle for this era.

As most people already said, things have changed and album promotion cycles are much shorter these days as music is consumed very differently.

However, I can see where you're coming from and in a way, I think her label could be doing other things on the side to keep fans excited (e.g. promoting Gagaween playlists and events, releasing a orange pressing of the album for Halloween, doing fan challenges or contests, releasing remixes, etc.)

I'm not expecting more from Gaga as she's already giving SO much this era and I'm so grateful! But, yes, the label could be doing more stuff imo.
