She will not spend 9 months sat around watching Real Housewives. She will 100% want to keep active and knowing she won't be able to tour for a set window of like 18 months + feels like prime "**** it lets make an album movie" territory 😂

edit: i mean, the logistics of traveling are probably time consuming, like shipping stuff, the actual traveling, customs, security... I've never traveled so I'm talking out of my ass but like imagine all the props and stage stuff they have to lug across the country.

I mean travelling is exhausting. I went on holiday the other week, and just the day of actually travelling was a full days effort so I spent my 1st day on holiday passed out by the pool 😂

Idk how anyone has energy to actually worry about the lack of eventfulness when she's on tour and giving amazing performances every night after delivering fantastic music and visuals. The news of which song she closed with every night is honestly very fun and enough entertainment from me

(But i will say maybe i'd feel less enthusiastic if i didnt have a show coming up)

In my gothic dreams, i feel like she would do or release something special on or around Halloween.

She gave us a well promoted era! 4 singles, 4 music videos, lots of interviews, TV performances, fun Tik Tok videos and her best tour plus critical acclaim everywhere! This is her most exciting album cycle since BTW for me (Joanne was too but I didn't enjoyed it that much since she was not healthy back in the day)

Touring is the real deal nowadays so of course her focus is there! We are talking about a world tour that it brings her money, fun, acclaim and headlines everywhere she goes!

No hate to you personally but I never understand fans who care so much about Gaga’s “success” or popularity to the general public. Surely it doesn’t matter if the rest of the world isn’t talking about her, she’s on tour so she’s focussing on her fans, the people who are buying tickets to her show? So what’s the issue?

What exactly is being expected from this era? We have 4 MVs, critically acclaimed comeback album, critically acclaimed world tour, Grammy's hype. She is literally at her artistic peak since BTW, enjoying what she is doing and doing her best to reconnect with fans 17+ years into her career.

We talk about her sometimes like we are shareholders in Gaga Inc. or her record label bosses. She is an artist, and a veteran. She has her process and unique trajectory and we should be happy as a fandom that she's earned her way to total artistic freedom and creative expression, rather then being driven by commercial clout chasing.

And we as a fandom definitely want her to succeed but let's have a perspective which goes broader than our internet-bubble informed assessment of how much hype she has. Some of us really need to really calm down and enjoy the music for what it is than project your own expectations of what she should be doing. Mayhem is one of the best albums from 2025 and Gaga. And she will only get better if she follows her current trajectory.

It happens every era, but I feel like with MAYHEM specifically, there's been a lot more of these "Are we in a low point?" type of threads, and it's frankly very annoying.

Eras naturally have highs and lows. She's not going to be announcing something new, releasing a new music videos or songs, or performing at different TV shows and events every week. Touring, imo, is always a "low" point in terms of any new content because she's busy f*cking touring the album.

Also, the conversation of "She should've released 'x' as a single" is always moot imo. In an ideal world, she'd release all the songs as singles and make music videos for every one of them, but that's not realistic. And in MAYHEM's case, I feel like this album has the most number of single-worthy songs on it. If she released VIY as a single, people would've complained it wasn't GOE; if it was GOE, people would've rather had HBDUWM; if it was HBDUWM, people would've wanted SOAM; etc.

It's a lose-lose situation with Gaga because one second she'll do something incredible, but then 3 days later people are like "Ok, so what's next??". Just learn to enjoy the things we get instead of constantly craving more.

But sis needs to pay her own bills! And touring is really the only way she is raking in the cash. Plus you become an artist to tour and share the music, and she clearly is loving the tour for this album! It feels like she WANTS to be there for each show and each moment... She was clearly still struggling a bit during CBT (and also JWT) and some of it felt more disconnected than what we are getting now

I bet she will work on something during that time and then it will be released around the time her child arrives so that she can basically give the fans something to have while she takes the time needed to become a mom!

One thing I have always wondered about is if she will try and get pregnant herself (thinking of her talk about it from the netflix documentary) or if she may go with a surrogacy route. Either way- I'm confident that she will find a way for fans to be happy right as she is about to take time off when starting her family... and if not, then we still have everything from MAYHEM and before to look back on and love

I wish DWAS never existed. It has stolen so much spotlight and airtime from Mayhem! I dont care about numbers and records. I just want another single! And The flop dance doesn't count to me.
