She had an amazing debut single with AOMD and the album is definitely one of my favorite debuts of recent years (along with being in my top five for this year)! I really love how much you can tell that she's a big pop music nerd and has taken a lot of inspiration from artists like Madonna, Gaga, and Diana Ross (I think the sample of Stop (In The Name Of Love) on Before You Break My Heart is absolutely genius!) That being said, I didn't enjoy the That's Showbiz Baby tour - the venue was atrocious (she has demand to modestly fill an arena in my opinion) and the production was so basic. Make it seems like she is trying all kind of sounds and see which one sticks. That being said, she QUICKLY became one of my favorite artists within this past year since AOMD came out because her music is SO GOOD. She deserves more mainstream recognition and success because she really is IT.
