It may well be made up but the fact remains that Taylor does overshadow those who she releases her albums around. Even if it's after yours, you'll be immediately forgotten. And Taylor sure likes being the centre of attention as long as possible. She was on Graham Norton which broadcast on the day her album came out and Lewis Capaldi showed up later in the show, sang his new song and then joined the other guests. It was announced this was his new song and he then said it was off his new EP but he wasn't allowed to talk about it. Taylor looked over and said "by who?" and he didn't answer but decided to say the EP title anyway and that it was coming out later in the year. Taylor then looked over at Graham and quietly said "thanks." The suggestion is that she assumed that he was the one who made a backstage agreement that only one artist could promote their new music. I can't think why else she would say that to him. But as Lewis had just sang his new song, which is the biggest promo and his EP isn't coming out til later, why would she care? It's crazy how chart obsessed she is, even worse than Ed.
