Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl and Ophelia retain their UK Number 1 crowns

The record-breaking singer has secured the double for a second consecutive week as The Life of a Showgirl tops the Official Albums Chart while The Fate of Ophelia continues its reign on the Official Singles Chart throne.  

Breaking numerous accolades last week, including biggest opening week of her career and overtaking Elvis to become the international artist with the most UK Number 1 albums ever, Taylor keeps hold of her crowns for another week. 

Taylor also sees Opalite (4) and Elizabeth Taylor (6) retain their standing in the Top 10, rounding off another strong week for the star.
