They did not fail her at all. This comment took her to the front page of reddit. People are talking about her, she is in headlines. They knew what they were doing and all of you being here and being mad is what they wanted to accomplish.

This is outrage marketing and trans issues are simply a very easy way to get people worked up.

She could be unaware of a boycott, but she would have to be living under a rock to be unaware of her attacks on trans people. 

And there is nothing more egregious at this place in time to utter “we’ve all got different opinions”. This legitimizes the erosion of democracy and the continued violent rhetorics by the right as mere opinions. Everyone should be clear on where they stand politically at this point. If you think it’s only a difference in opinions as we are witnessing the rise of fascism, then you’re just part of the problem.
