The saddest movie you have ever seen?

I remember watching Grave of the Fireflies as a kid — I cried my eyes out.

Titanic was another deeply emotional experience for me; I probably watched both films far too young.

But La La Land hits the hardest. I watched it while I was an exchange student in another country, falling in love with a local. I saw so much of us in that film — the passion, the dreams, the distance. And just like in the movie, we eventually went our separate ways.

I couldn’t sleep for days after watching EoE. I was basically stuck on “…huh” mode for a while. But that lost shot is one of my favorite images ever and I use it as a desktop whenever I can!

Idk if these are the "saddest" I've ever seen, but boy, do they make me cry  

I saw Babe: Pig in the City recently and the scene when they thought the wheelchair dog died and went into heaven and he was chasing butterflies without his chair...oh I WEPT...only for the dog to come back to life and chase trucks for the rest of his days
