I will say The Secret Life Of Marilyn Monroe.

yes omg when Michael fired him and he looked at Gaga with his puppy face and he said "but you told me we're in this forever, that as  long as you're singing, nothing ever gonna tear us apart, even love, can you at least tell me why?"

And she just stood there, with tears in her eyes and she said "love is like a brick u can build a house or sink a dead body, you are the dead body, but I will always love you"

IT BROKE ME :traumatica:

I watched Somewhere In Time last year, it's all old fantasy 80s and I thought it won't be sad but I was crying after and then I was sad for like a week :air: it's not even a realistic film :air:

Also Life is Beautiful, and Brokeback Mountain

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas :messga:

Something about seeing atrocities through the naive, innocent eyes of children is just bone chilling.

You're stinky

Marley & Me. I saw it once. I cannot ever again. It was deeply painful. The scene where they burry Marley felt personal because I lived the exact same thing with my family and our first dog. Heartbreaking.

I think the close second would be The Bridges of Madison County. Meryl is phenomenal in it. I would say it is one of the saddest movies I've ever seen because it captures the pain of love that comes too late and can’t be fully lived.

Brokeback Mountain broke me when I first saw it. Still haven't been able to watch it again, my gay ass is too weak for that :bradley:

Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?

The End of Evangelion. I was sixteen I think. I just remember puttering around my house being like "...huh."

Another very close one: EO.
