Elphaba should have this rawness in personality and looks which could make people believe she is a Wicked Witch. I guess I can see what you mean about Morrible + The Wizard, but honestly I liked their interpretations. I think Goldblum captures the Wizard’s conman essence pretty well and think Yeoh captures the more conniving side of Morrible. Broadway people want film to be that but it just won’t. Madame Morrible would look insane if you did the stage version in the movie. Goldblum is just fine imo and does a serviceable job.
