I think it’s gonna turn people off to this song. It feels they’re are trying to hard to push it. if it was meant to be a sensation, it should happen organically- but imo this is just a major eye roll and feels more on brand for Katy Perry than Gaga to interrupt her own show with a bit like this. I just don’t feel like it’s landing with the audience- I don’t think anyone is gagged by this bit. But obviously it’s only my opinion, so How do yall feel about it? Do you like it? Do you think it adds to the experience and makes the show more fun and engaging? Do you like the song? Edited 14 hours ago by Controversiaga Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . PornoDanceFight 196
I lowkey agree, but I think the difference between both is that Katy has leaned into that schtick as part of her brand that it turned people off from it, while Gaga hasn't really "goofed" like that on tour like...ever. I can't imagine this bit being worn out and negatively affecting Gaga as much as Katy's antics have affected Katy. In a way, I can also see this as refreshing for Gaga's image for those who aren't watching her every move. Narratively, however, I'm telling myself it's like that part of a (gothic) dream when your alarm becomes part of the dream just for it to make a lick of sense lol. I also do like the idea/fan speculation that this will only happen for the October shows leading up to Halloween as a Halloween "trick," which is cute. But if she's still doing this when I see her again in February...

I just feel like this song didn’t click for me since the beginning, and them continuing to force it down our throats is turning me off a lot Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . TimotheeChalamet 5,957
I think it doesn't make sense but it's not going to harm her image, non-stans will forget about it the day after witnessing the show. Also I don't get why TDD is considered so bad among the fanbase, it's better than The Cure imo Edited 14 hours ago by TimotheeChalamet 16

It hasn't really resonated with me either (it's truly my least favorite out of any of the Mayhem tracks). I really wanted the chorus to be "punchier," the verses are thin, and the bridge doesn't add anything to the track. It's leagues better than The Cure though lol. datlastfam 5,217
why I do feel like they have a big ass spinwheel include all the songs for MBT at the backstage and it was her and the dancers ideas to just spin the wheel randomly, whichever song they get they will perform random dead dance 5
TEANUS 15,654
I don’t adore the song the way I loved Disease, Abra, or Garden Of Eden - but I LOVE Gaga’s energy towards it. She beams happiness when she does the dance and it just continues on the confidence she’s found with MAYHEM British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS 6
Ivy 12,821
I think it's cute and funny but she should keep it on the not serious parts of the show, since it breaks the continuity too much in this part the meow in zombieboy
Allan 3,920
I think it's cute that she wants to have a goofy moment, and for the people not into it, I just can't see how a random 1 minute will detract from the incredible experience at this concert, this is such a non-issue.
