She doesn't need autotune, she just uses it as an artistic device because it gives her music a futuristic hyperpop sound. Being a techically exceptional singer has nothing to do with my enjoyment of a person's art. Taylor Swift's recent work is annoying to me because of her cringe songwriting and stale production choices, not because her voice doesn't work for the material she writes.
