This is what I was going to say! It is a similar vocal technique, and she actually sounds younger on that track than any other from MAYHEM, except maybe parts of don't call tonight

Disease makes me think of a Cryo Shell song that they used for desert themed Legos back in the day so yeah, I get this  

It's that "ahhhhh" backing vocal that comes in before the beat drops. Whether it's because of American media programing or a legit reason, that simple progression evokes thoughts of the Middle East.
