steveb 0
Does anyone remember in 2008 when Gaga said she was planning to change track 8 on different editions of The Fame for collectors, so people were inspired to get imports? She'd been speaking about super fans, etc. I know it didn't happen - but does anyone else remember this interview and where it was? Also on The Fame, looking at the legal documents - Interscope purchased 29 masters. But Paparazzi is missing from the list... despite the fact she'd stopped seeing and working with Rob Fusari. There's a weird line in between O and R where P should be. I don't have the leaked legals, but surely Paparazzi should be in that list?
Gagz 2,579
I don’t remember an interview but I found this on the Gagapedia fandom: The tracklist was announced a few days before the release on August 19, 2008. On September 4, 2008, Gaga revealed through the Haus of Gaga blog on her official website that she intended to have a different song replacing track eight on each different localized version: "Money Honey" on the Canadian version, "Starstruck" on the US version, and the European release, "Vanity". However, only the Canadian version followed the original schedule as "Starstruck" became track nine in the US and "Vanity" was exclusively released by the online music store, Rhapsody.
