For me the costumes don't look good, the cinematography doesn't look good. The story isn't good, the daylight is a bad decision. It's basic, not much happens in the video.

there's something to actually give credit for swifties, even with the shittiest songs and albums, they would support Taylor no matter what, they would fight in the pit with everyone to defend songs they don't even like.

I understand that we all have opinions, but even if someone don't like TDD, they can at least give it a few streams and lower the volume for all I care.

Weak stuff from this era: 

MV = Drama is there but the storyline is weak and generic. Art direction is amateur compared to seasoned directors. 
 

Tracks = Too commercial. The real bangers are paid dust like VIY, SOAM, GOE.

tbh we’re lucky she still makes songs for her fans. Lets just focus on the good stuff like her love for Michael, her voice getting stronger, Haus Labs success and her advocacies

The issue is the "fans" want Gaga to be a chart behemoth and interpret the quality and value of all her music on the basis of whether or not they'll get to brag that their barbie doll charted high. 

The fans that actually care about the music not the bling, are very happy with the Mayhem era's music even if there are critiques about the visuals/non tour content etc.

TDD was doomed to fail because of how long it was shrouded in mystery and left to self hype by delusional fans lol

the video has many factually creepy moments other than black goo

you clearly only watched it once and discarded it after  there's plenty happening and more to dissect and analyse than the majority of videos i see get praised as good
