LM: this is too dark, it will flop, GP hates too dark

Gaga: here’s TDD a groovy but dark song and a spooky mv

LM: this is not dark enough, it’s too dancey to be dark! And the mv is LAME!

Hmm... "Disease" isn't that good a song, it's not bad either. The video is cheap as f, there's nothing creepy about it. Again, the same problem with "TDD", an ok song with a boring and nothing special video.

Most of the fandom loved Disease. There was just apprehension from some because they everso naively thought it was the lead single so it might not get positive GP recognition.

The Mayhem Ball is probably the darkest thing she's ever created and it's a massive success across the board.

I personally get annoyed by the whole dark = edgy = good narrative that's thrown around in this fanbase and stan culture in general.

There is a way to do darkness right and wrong. She got it right on GOE and Abracadabra, not so much on the other tracks of Mayhem. It's actually one of the biggest flaws of the album.

No one complained about Disease being too dark the song just didn't reach high success 

TDD isn't bad but yes the mv is cringe, Gaga's fan just have a great taste because she gets us used to good art

Abracadabra is great, the mv is fantastic and every little monster loves it and yells how great it is

Bloody Mary was an amazing "dark" song, whereas TDD is a cute song with a music video that got its potential completely wasted.

Fans want quality.
