Did anyone else feel emotionally “numb” during a Gaga concert?

I found myself feeling similarly at big concerts. For me I think the whole process of figuring out parking, navigating the venue, being around thousands of people, and THEN being bombarded by bright lights and loud noises for hours overwhelms my brain into a kind of autopilot mode where I can appreciate what I'm seeing internally but the emotions are muted externally.

This is definitely a privileged thing to say, but getting tickets for 2 separate days has helped a lot. The 1st time I allow myself to the grace to feel however I feel (the numbness) and take the opportunity to film what I want to film. Then the 2nd day always feels more "normal"; I can keep my phone in my pocket and its easier to be in the moment to really feel it and enjoy my time with my friends!

I learned that seeing Cowboy Carter. 1st day was great but it felt like a blur. Going back a 2nd time for night 4 was a whole new experience and I was able to sing, dance, cry, and actually process what I was seeing on stage in real time.

I'm feeling that right now except it's because I'm going on a trip in a few days and idk why my mind does this. Same thing happened on a trip a few years ago and it sucked the fun out of everything even though I could consciously tell what I should be feeling.

Do you feel him sir?

I've yet to attend my first Gaga concert and really hope I get to see her this month. She's been my "emotional support artist" since teenage years and I'm 32 now.

I've been feeling numb in general lately. So I'm kind of hoping that this experience will wake me up and inspire me to live life to the fullest at least for a bit. I can see that concert, and Abracadabra in particular, being a sort of exorcism that I need to release negative energy and keep going.
