I’m so disgusted by this album. I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece at all and her last release was mediocre at best but she has reached new heights of mediocrity with this one. She completely lost her spark as an artist for me. The lyrics are very uninspired, dull and kind of problematic. 

I mean you are the biggest pop star in the industry in terms of success and possibly one of the most famous people in the world right now , it’s not possible that you don’t have anything better to write about rather than your man wtf 

It makes no sense to me how someone who’s known for being such a meticulous songwriter can’t have a moment of self reflection and self criticism, you’re standing in a pedestal that allows you to release music in whatever pace you want so why everything seems so rushed and half baked?

This is not a rant against taylor swift personally but she kinda embodies the “selling a product over making true art” aspect of our culture nowadays which I hate so much

god she’s lucky she has such a rabid fanbase, she can put out an entire record made with AI next and her fans would still stand by her and treat the album as the biggest piece of music ever made
