I’ve never even heard that term, I don’t think it would work for her

I don't think it would make a difference, it would just cost her label more money.

Gaga needs to do what she does best, let her music speak for itself

No please!! Speaking personally as a monster on a fixed income, it’s hard for me to get regular releases. I could only imagine how hard that would make it :rip:

Everyone here already said how terrible limited special editions are but let me say it from the perspective of a fan that doesn’t live in the US or Europe:

Gaga’s store right now does not send stuff to a few countries that already have the Universal Music Store, and the price of albums in the store are stupidly expensive!

The standard version of MAYHEM was R$79,90 in Brazil and the Store exclusive version R$99,90. Different from US and EU that still have the store exclusive version for sale, there were very limited copies in our store for whatever reason. The album went in presale in January 27th and the store exclusive version sold out in less than 30 minutes. So, the only way to buy it was to get it in third party sites where they are being sold for between RS200 and R$397. And what if you want the Target exclusive version with Kill For Love? You had better have another R$ 200!

Just for comparison, the minimum wage here in Brazil is R$ 1.518,00.

So, if you got lucky, you will spent at “only” R$ 378,80 (25% of minimal wage), but the price of those 3 versions could get as much as 679,9 (44% of minimal wage), and I’m talking only about buying these 3 different versions of the CDs, buying all versions of MAYHEM plus vinyl’s would easily cost more than R$ 2000! And that’s only in Brazil, but I’m pretty sure that fans from other countries suffer the same.

So please Gaga, don’t release 28 versions of your album like a certain someone. Is terrible for the environment, but also really bad for the fans and it cheapens your artistic vision when you’re pumping dozens of versions just to keep a totally shallow #1 for months on the charts.

I don't know how to write in english

The first single coming the same day as the album is the only one I could hypothetically see her doing.
