I think there ended up being no long term impact because they split up and it became quickly obvious it was an acrimonius split up. 

But honestly, even Matty Healey and the 1975 came out of that entire PR disaster somehow alive and smelling of roses meanwhile people like Rina Sawayama were treated like attention seeking psychos. i get how people can interpret charli’s song but to me it shows how charli views are as this commodity that needs to be competed on i mean i get they are in an industry but charli’s insecurities come from competition now from vulnerability
