Not too surprising for Mariah (her name alone deserves #1 obviously, but that's life), but Doja's floppery is substantial 

I really thought she had something unique in her to leave a lasting mark in the industry but seems like her antics (or put better, frustration with being the itgirl) during the past era caught with her - although she's been delivering music-wise. A shame tbh...

To be fair, doja's only good debut was planet her, even scarlett only did like 75k

Planet her had insane longevity due to the tons of hits the album had, and then scarlet was helped by agora and paint, but the rest of the album streamed kinda horribly for her standards at the time, so I'm kinda surprised vie is even doing 59k considering the lack of any hit

It's a really strong late career album. Not as much of a reinvention as Caution, but it really plays to her strengths. I'd pick it over quite a few of her other albums.

Am I the Drama? is an album that should've come out Spring 2021 at the latest. Half a decade later is why this happened.

I feel that Doja debuting at #5 marks a huge shift in pop (as in specifically, charts radio and streaming, aka what the GP is consuming rather than the genre of pop). It feels like the tide is really shifting for a lot of artists that saw huge numbers during the covid/early 2020s era. Lil Nas, Lizzo, Doja, Dua, etc. are all having a harder time breaking through in the mid-decade. Even longer-running "legacy" artists like Ed Sheeran and Miley are seeing super low debuts. I think it's pretty shocking and definitely feels like a new era is about to begin with some different sounds about to break through into the zeitgeist.

Agreed. The album is solid. I wish it was a little longer but I’m hoping for a deluxe album with a few more tracks and remixes. She has a plethora of popular artists that would love to work with her such as SZA and Cardi. She’s been doing a lot of promo for the album especially considering how long in her career she is. Her only setback has been getting used to the streaming age in terms of promo and charts. Unlike most of her contemporaries she isn’t collaborating with a ton of popular artists for the sake of clout. If she did a deluxe album with a few new tracks and remixes with SZA, Cardi, Ariana, Bruno(since she worked with Anderson on the album), Paul McCartney, etc. her streaming numbers would skyrocket and the first three are massive Mariah fans.

I think my favorite is Nothing is Impossible. I Won’t Allow It is also a bop. Here for it all is also cute.
