I think there's a very notable difference in these situations. A Bad Bunny headline show would attract a majority latino audience which would make it a hunting ground for ICE. The audience attending the Super Bowl? Not so much. ICE is not going to be setting up camp at the Super Bowl. This allows him to keep his fans safe while also getting a captive US audience to potentially platform an incredibly important and timely message.

The takeaway should be that a very proudly Latino individual who has taken a very loud stance against ICE and the Trump Administration is being given one of the most valuable pieces of airtime in existence. The potential here for a strong, relevant, and powerful message simultaniously of protest and of celebration of Latino culture is something to look forward to.
