I KNOWWWW its diabolical LOL.

I think Halsey was brave enough to ask and schedules lined up. Trent likes Espresso and pop music in general lately, and they're clearly friendly towards each other in some capacity since they met several times. I would think why they haven't is one or multiple of these reasons-- schedules not lining up, Gaga wanting to do her own thing with NIN as inspo (Disease, GOE, PC Killah, and CSTH), Trent feeling like he has nothing to offer/improve upon (I thinnnnk in Halsey's case she had the demos done but wanted them improved), or maybe it's too high profile of a collab? I have no idea. But she also didn't want Mayhem to fit in a box/character, and I feel like if Trent did a whole album, it could put her in that box again, but his work is so much more versatile than just Closer that I think they could make it work. I'd love some sort of interaction since Gaga didn't get much of it with Bowie

Honestly I would be a happy camper if we got even a lil statement from Trent about his thoughts on her/Disease if he has any, hopefully good thoughts  he liked a post on insta that reported about her "blacking out" in his presence which I would think is a good sign showing his amusement

Also, Gaga's stylist, and the designer for her bodysuit she wears for Vanish was at the LA NIN shows. And mtla.studio worked on Mayhem, NIN's tour, and the AAYNMTB music video
