I'm a Swiftie and am looking forward to the new album/era but so far the visuals have felt a bit too intense to me. I wonder if the music will match the visuals but I suspect not, likely to feel much less serious.

Gaga is showbiz, Taylor… isn’t. 

She’s an intelligent songwriter, great musician and hugely popular celebrity but a showgirl she is not. 

This isn’t even shade, Taylor makes the absolute best of what she’s got. But I wouldn’t say showbiz runs through her veins and fashion certainly doesn’t.
