Only speaking for myself on this one cause i know some replies don’t align with what I’m saying, but not every argument made is a rage bait against Gaga, there’s topics of interest and different ways to enjoy these platforms and it almost feels impossible to have a conversation without it being turned into a lecture. And exactly this kind of drivel is what makes my brain ache. Why explain myself when someone else has it all figured out? Oh, the wisdom ye possesseth. I'm out. It is fun, fresh, and who cares what the public thinks. Have you considered they’re not trying to “recreate” anything, just creating in general? People weren’t interested as much after that. It upsets me tgqt the “return to form” / “return to darkness” only ended up mustering a #13 peaking song in the US. I was hoping that could have been impactful enough to keep the song growing and eventually peaking in the top 10. I knew that curiosity and excitement wouldn’t last for future singles but I was really hoping Abra could use all that excitement and go far but it didn’t. It still became a hit and it’s a catalog highlight for Gaga now but yeah…was hoping that initial excitement would translate to it becoming a proper smash with weeks in the top ten.
