Eh I think she needs time to adjust to stardom more and is taking that. Good for her. Sabrina was a Disney kid so she got a runway to it

That’s fair. I know she said the adjustment was hard for her.But Chappell was unafraid or standing up for herself so she does take care of herself.  Im just impatient for a new album because Midwest princess was amazing.

It’s a very sexy photoshoot. Elegant but hot. I’m beginning to warm up to Sabrina. MBF wasn’t as good as I thought it would be but it still has about 5 great pop songs in it. That said, if she wants to release music yearly, that’s fine by me. Never realized why people would even complain about this.

It actually used to be common to release multiple albums in one year prior to the 80s. Cher had multiple instances of two albums in a year, and some artists have had three or even four. I think the change had to do with the increase in ways to promote music. Bigger eras = more impact.

I mean if you’re gonna do yearly then sure have a handful of great songs and some others. I feel like it averages out to a 3-5 yr great album lmfao

Used to be normal behaviour for singers to be constantly creating and releasing.
Bowie - At least 1 album every year from 1969 until 1977
Elton - At least 1 album every year from 1969 to 1976.
Dolly - At least 1 album every year from 1967 until 1980.
Fleetwood Mac - 1 albnum every year from 1968 until 1975. And then still released in 77 and 79 while doing **** tonnes of coke and fighting one another.

Find it so weird that people now seem angry when musicians make music.

The difference is that the eras were short, 1-2, even none, singles releases, and the albums were pretty short as well.

It was mostly album - tour - next album. the marketing cycle didn't have expensive music videos, photoshoots, etc. it was a simple marketing.

So now it's not only about "making music", it's everything around the music, the whole promo (music videos, talk shows, photoshoots, award shows, social media, all the variants etc.) + tour, everything in a matter of 1 year, it is exhausting for a person.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Loving the work ethic some of the pop girls have been showing lately! Sabrina’s latest didn’t hit as hard as SnS for me, but I love how hard she’s working. Just hope that doesn’t come with a dip in quality.

Music has also become more tour oriented since the music itself doesnt sell the way it used to. Streaming just isnt that profitable anymore

Other legends like ABBA and Beatles released frequently also

I am surprised, that with a new album we've not seen a tour extension or new tour announcement from Sabrina.

Presumably it'll come after a grammys season deluxe edition release for next year.

Yeah this too. Tours make musicians all the money nowadays.
