TheMontebello 586 Posted yesterday at 11:21 PM Share Posted yesterday at 11:21 PM (edited) I want her to brong it back and release new ones. Sabrina and Ariana have been doing very well with theirs. Come one, Gaga! You already have Haus Labs, add the fragrances to it! I think its current cult classic status comes down to nostalgia and it being discontinued. But i also think, if she were to release a fragrance nowadays it still would be somewhat safe - i Think generally gaga likes soft and clean scents, because its known that she wears Daisy by Marc Jacobs - i think Womanity might have been some deal between her and Mugler, cause she was their face at that time, so to speak.  Always a pleasure to meet fellow perfumistas  Your descritpion of Fame is spot on, it was one of many, a child of its time, so to say. Celebrity perfumes of the early 2010s all had this artificial fruitiness to them, and Fame was nothing new or special at all. If it was still available today, it wouldn't be held in such high regard. But that's just human nature, we tend to ignore things we have or can reach, but when something is gone for good, we start putting it on a pedastal. Regarding Womanity and Gaga, her being Muglers face at the time probably played some part in her endorsing it as her personal scent, who knows? Well, the perfume industry changed quite a bit, but celebrity scents today are still mostly sweet, fruity and safe, albeit in different ways. So what I could see happening, is Gaga launching a more woody scent inspired by the hugely popular Baccarat Rouge 540, which almost every perfume brand from cheap to insanely expensive have already "copied". Ariana Grandes Cloud fragrances are clearly inspired by it. It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.
