I like her talents - I wish she didn’t fall victim to the same bullsh that Nicki did after Roman Reloaded when it came to a rapper making pop music. That whole rhetoric is old as fuk. 
 

I am trying to view her differently after she made me put off during her last era. I enjoy her music and Jealous Type is that bitch 😂 

I think doing both rap and pop in the same songs and albums 1000% doable and doesn’t mean you have no convictions as either.

I don’t think that’s a problematic view or a question of dishonoring your past work, especially considering artists don’t get to release just what they stand for at the beginning of their careers, obviously there will be pieces of your discography you don’t really like or care for unless you learn to appreciate the whole bigger picture
