Gaga’s “The Dead Dance” for Wednesday is such a fun surprise, with a great disco-influenced feel.

She is unbelievable. Every one of these songs that we ever made together, the concepts are so effortlessly her. Lady Gaga, “The Dead Dance.” It’s just such a her concept. Because of the title and the way that she was singing, the production morphed and shifted a lot. We worked very hard on that production to make it sound original and also feel like something that you could really dance to.

What I really love about that song is the live instrumentation mixed with the track instrumentation. There’s some really good bass in there and cool guitar inversions and stuff and great synths and the way everything works together. I remember when we were making that bridge, that’s where it got really funky. “Do the dead dance” — that was invented from the bridge music. That was a big telltale for the song. And then everything got morphed around that.

I get the feeling that Gaga really enjoyed working with Watt. He's got such a cool vibe, very old school rock style actually and he's modest. Reminds me a lot of Mark Ronson and we know how much Gaga loved working with him too

To be honest she loved worked with most of her lead producers from each album process. She often shares throwback great moments from her sessions with RedOne and DJWS too.

Feel like she loves trying with new people everytime she gets in the studio for a new album. Getting new chemistries and creative influences

Not so much with Blood pop

But Also Mark, It seems like She likes him but the process Wasnt Easy. But It was the First time She incorporated more old synths plug ins, live instrumentation, raw vocals. It shifted drastically from there.

BloodPop is the producer fans WANT her to hate while we know it’s probably the closest she has now as a friend.

She had thar restaurant night last year with all of her friends in Malibu and BloodPop and his girlfriend were spotted there. She literally worked with him on Happy Mistake.

She didn't enjoyed the Chromatica process mainly because of her own mental issues. Anyone else in the studio with her wouldn't have changed a lot imo

I have no beef with him. Guess i spoke without knowing:ororomunroe:

I did not know that. Happy mistake i thought It was mainly cause its a sad Song.

Anyway, that She has a relationship with him and Hana? Is a good thing.

And this Is all speculation from my part. She did Say that mayhem was hard to create. Took much work and effort. But Also chemistry in the studio Is different from being friends

Note the choice of “all the songs,” and interesting choice of words when you’re the producer of the entire album. To me, that makes it very much sound like the journey continues…

I love the instrumental in TDD :tony:

I feel like with Gaga and Watt she has the unique ideas and he has the traditional so they work well to make songs that are in the edge of mainstream and unique (I think all of Gaga's best songs are this way too)
