It's a fact that many people go to concerts for the pleasure of seeing and hearing their favorite stars. Since the advent of cell phones, it's no longer really possible to see what's happening on stage, and all that for the sake of posting thousands of sh*tty videos on social media. Or filming yourself screaming like a dumbwit to once again post it on the internet.

I don't go to the movies anymore because now a major part of the theater audience is filming the screen when they're not playing their favorite breakout game, with the sound on. If that's letting people live or considering it normal, it's not surprising to see systems like dynamic pricing come along. What a fantastic way to enjoy subjecting everyone to these insane prices, especially that bunch of idiots, who ultimately have only one thing on their minds: leaving their skidmark on the internet, just like others do in public toilets, as someone we know well would say. With one big difference: graffiti doesn't prevent you from peeing and enjoying the relief. Whereas all this mess in concert halls and theaters simply deprives you of the pleasure of watching the show.

Not so long ago, those who wanted to jump and shout went to the pit, these fu©king stupidphones didn't exist, nor did this social media crap. As a result, self-centered idiots didn't think they could do whatever they wanted, with the support of other morons who think like them, for the simple reason that they had paid their entrance ticket.

I hope they ban phones on concert floors asap. Especially when its not seated its annoying AF to be surrounded by people filming the show.

I miss when we didn't had smartphones and just enjoyed the music truly at concerts. Just be in the moment.. You wont remember it through a screen, and the experience gets so much better when u are just focused and in the moment of what is happening then and there. It wont happen again, so truly just live it.

i'll admit i filmed a few things at the chromatica ball, but it's because my mother contributed money to the ticket since she couldn't go due to living halfway across the world and she wanted me to catch her favourite songs (monster and shallow), but i wasn't SCREAMING my lungs out while gaga sang.  my voice was already messed up anyway because i had just gotten over a sinus infection.  the people that shriek everything so loud hurt my ears.

they pay to be there just the same as you. I understand that it gets on your nerves, but they’ve got a right to enjoy the show that they paid for the way that they choose to.
