If they do, they will pass out. I'm just worried I will be next to one but hopefully it's just for a minute for content.. Hopefully they do it quickly so they shut the **** up Like a poem said by a neydy in red

Being close to someone screaming nonstop can be pretty annoying for a lot of people. I don’t think it’s a matter of “focus on yourself” when the environment doesn't even allow you to enjoy the moment. In fact, it’s because people are so focused on themselves that they act disrespectfully to those around them. 2

gumzy3000 7,770
I would rather have someone screaming "too loud" than on their phone recording the whole show... Let people enjoy these experiences the way they want as long as they aren't hurting anyone. Your at a concert (of all places) so expect screaming trolly troll troll

I would love if EVERYBODY put their phones down, danced and SINGED along. That's epic! But there is such a huge difference between singing loudly and screaming so high that it sounds like you are being murdered and overpowering the music we all are trying to vibe to.
vmpiregrn 1,233
When I saw Charli this year the crowd was so bad w this sort of thing lol, granted her music calls for that sort of thing more but the gays had absolutely no self awareness. Couldn’t hear a word out of her mouth. Even worse was the kid behind me who wasn’t just scream-singing along, he started making random off-kilter commentary at the top of his lungs. Singing is one thing, but…we don’t all need to hear your internal monologue

I get what OP is saying but concerts are chaotic messy and communal by nature, the space itself dictates the mood and once you decide to be in a crowd of thousands you're already giving up your peculiaritues. Expecting social proprietry is a lost cause, People are tipsy, high, or just hyped to hear their favorite music blasted at full volume. it's not a theatre show fgs its literally a party. we'd all enjoy ourselves more if we focused less on what other people are doing and more on our own experience. I say this because people will literally complain if people are filming or will call others snubs or ungrateful if they are just standing still enjoying the concert in their own little bubble. Now we're complaining about people screaming too???.....like dang let people live a little . Edited September 18, 2025 by RenegAde

I would kind of agree with you if I actually thought that the screamers would scream genuiley out of pure joy but I think they are just doing it for attention. BUT if they don't and that actually is how they behave and act while excited, then I rest my case and just continue being bitter and old

I respect your opinion, but I’m not talking about the excitement and shouting typical of the moment, I think everyone who attends these events is prepared for that. I’m talking about the louder-than-normal screaming that can be disturbing. We should know how to behave in public settings, and that includes music concerts. And I agree with you: people tend to complain about everything these days, but in my opinion, the complaint addressed in this thread is quite valid. 1
Ashley 10,185
I didn’t experience this at the Mayhem Ball even though my whole section was dancing and singing, but I did at the Chromatica Ball. There was a girl standing right next to me that was literally shouting at the top of her lungs to the point I could barely hear Gaga over her, and I was really close to the stage! I considered telling her to stfu but luckily she chilled out by the 3rd song. To be clear this isn’t normal singing. Even if the crowd is singing along loudly you can still hear the artist so this wasn’t that.

I think this is a situation where some people are just going to have more tolerance than others. The same show/audience can be too much for one person while someone else will say it was tame... Maybe there is a show I will experience one day with screaming even I can't tolerate, but so far I have never experienced this. trolly troll troll
