The first 4-5 songs stand out because there is contrast on the album One thing I have noticed is even after 17 years running they still expect this "huge, commercial success" for Gaga which is wild. had the album remained more hard/industrial sounding like "Disease" and "Notorious Being" then I feel it would have turned off many of her umm, "bling not the song" type of fans. Cause she’s always been unafraid to reference or not reference () but for me, after Garden Of Eden, every single song sounds like something we’ve heard before, or directly like another song from another artist. My ideal Mayhem would've included more Perfect Celebrity-esque songs. And it's why I'm glad Can't Stop the High got added to the deluxe as it's the closest in my opinion.
