No matter what I’ll choose arena every time. :fthis: It gives us, the audience, possibility to actually see artist live. Not at screens. Music sounds way better in arena because it was designed for this very purpose. Acoustics in stadiums sucks! Also lights can create magic in closed room which is not possible at stadiums.
For me there’s no fun in watching artist on big screens at stadiums and hearing sh!t. I’m glad MBT is happening at arenas. :enigma:
Chromatica ball in Paris was hell on Earth and I’ll never forget it sadly. I wasn’t able to see Gaga, neither hear her. Let alone smoking twinks everywhere… :fthis:

i've been attended gaga's shows in amphitheatre, perfoming/exhibition center and stadium just recently in singapore. i am looking forward to experience mayhem ball next year in tokyo dome, japan.
i think dome is a good choice compared to stadium and arena, the capacity just between both of them and the view could be better than stadium, also people could get tickets more easier instead of fight for arenas which has about 10000 seats.
and most importantly, weather issue are more controllable than in a stadium without ceiling. this was chromatica ball at belluna dome on sept. 2022 in tokyo, japan.

btw i'd like stadium if have to choice.

I honestly don't see the point of paying for an expensive ticket if all you'll be able to see is a screen :triggered:

Arenas. Concerts should be in the dark, and when it is still light outside it ruins a concert in a stadium for me.

Also everyone pulling the “health card” for Gaga, we dont know what her health is right now, but she seems more than fine

Arenas are the best venues for me personally other than theaters because every time an artist I like does a stadium tour they never come to my city even though we literally have stadium venues

Enigma was the perfect size but of course I realize not everyone can go to Las Vegas. Stadium concerts are more impressive if planned right. Formation World Tour was insanely good.

I prefer the atmosphere of a stadium show. It feels like an event. I’ve been to plenty of concerts and the ones that stand out in my memory are the stadium shows because of the energy in the crowd. You’ll never get that in an arena. I was damn near barricade for JWT with Gaga right in front of me and that doesn’t hold a candle to my lower bowl seat at Eras.

Where I'm from concerts start at 9 PM... that's nightime, so even for stadium shows there's no significant external light

They both have their pros and cons, but for strictly the experience arenas are superior. When I went to the Chromatica Ball I had early entry GA, so I was in the 4th row and had a great view, but I’m sure the people in the nosebleeds didn’t.

It totally depends on where you're from.

I've been to lots of outdoor shows/stadium shows in the UK and even if they start at 9PM it doesn't get dark until half way through the show.

Exactly!

And if you wait for the months when it gets darker earlier, you may have to deal with cold or rainy weather, which also could effect the health of the artist. I've seen Ed Sheeran during the last weekend in September. 14°C and heavy rain...

The Chromatica Ball in Düsseldorf was great, since the stadium has a retractable roof, but there are maybe seven stadiums of that size that can be closed this way in all of Europe
