Plastic Flower 5,224
Okay so I gave it a listen with the visuals and ngl the first half devoured the second. Lip Service is fine, I like it, but it doesn’t do anything. I'd give this album an 86 because the album lost momentum after Unconditional and doesn’t get as interesting until Glitch starts playing. Silent Disco on the other hand is probably my favorite song out of the new ones. That’s such a beautiful way to close the album. My top 3 for the moment are Plastic Box, FUFN and Silent Disco. huttont 5,381
I gotta give it another listen. But I can already tell it’s a super solid album. The singles knocked it out of the park and there are definitely some others I am vibing to.

StrawberryBlond 14,917
I thought it was alright but the singles definitely stood out more than the album tracks. My overall faves were Angel of My Dreams, FUFN, Midnight Cowboy, Unconditional, Lip Service, Headache and Natural at Disaster. I think Midnight Cowboy was ultimately the best and deserved to be a full-blown single and I'm hoping that Natural at Disaster becomes a single as it's the only track to have a "visualiser" that wasn't a proper music video and is the weirdest and least compelling of all, suggesting it's going to be a proper music video to round off the era. I think for the average "girl band member goes solo" album, it's decent but it's hardly original, it's clearly inspired massively by so many other artists like Beyonce, Doja Cat, Melanie Martinez, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and yes, Gaga with no unique trademark that no one else has done. It's nowhere near as amazing as critics are making it out to be, it has an 85 already, that's higher than Mayhem, higher than any of Gaga's albums. Artists now are so lucky that they're debuting in the current era, where critics are fairer to females, open-minded to experimental sounds and love/overrate everything. The amount of ordinary albums these days getting scores in the 80's is crazy, it's denigrating what a score like that means.
