no, Mayhem was the original route that she wanted to scrap in favour of more PC sounding songs, he encouraged her to keep it as is

Yeah, Gaga said she was going to change the direction of the album to be more industrial, but Michael pointed out how she had all these other songs that were really good and she shouldn't let them go to waste. Gaga said he was right in the end becasue she had already spent the last few albums pinning it all down to a single sound, and this time allowed for more sonic variety.

The original accusation was about the dolls being generative AI, which they weren't. Both the producer of the video and the VFX team confirmed this. They used a program that utilizes an AI tool to help speed up the animation process, but this is not the same as gen-AI. These tools have existed long before generative AI.
