Also, isn't the dynamic pricing due to resales? at least for Gaga concerts, if there are resales for these gigs they will be dynamic anyways cuz those are resellers putting the price...

No it’s not about resales. Dynamic pricing works by using algorithms to adjust prices in real-time with the goal of maximizing revenue and profitability. So the prices of the official ticket sales increase when demand is high.

i know, but i was refering to the Gaga gigs, i saw the dynamic prices due to resales only, not the official ticket sales, was she using dynamic pricing really? and i was also making the pont, there are concerts that the tickets are bought mostly by resellers when it's first available for purchase, so the prices end up being dynamic anyway for the average buyer

Yes she uses dynamic pricing. The later you’re in the queue and the more people in the queue, the more price you pay.
 

Box office scores are not about resales. They represent the first hand official sales. Gaga grossing stadium-like money from arena dates are from dynamic pricing.

With every album and year that goes by...her value as a performer increases and therefore ticket prices

We should just be happy to see an artist among many touring rn publicly saying they wont needlessly raise prices 

Its a small but impactful decision she didnt have to make...im sure if she didnt fight bts...the label and tour management would add surge pricing lol

i thought she was grossing that much just because the ticket prices were to high since the beggining, i saw people complaining that the prices were unafordable from the beggining, i didn't see ppl complaining about dynamic pricing, excuse me the questioning, but do u know this by assumptions of the grossing or were u attempting to buy tickets and saw the dynamic pricing yourself? i just want to be sure
