imogen2133 94 Posted Monday at 11:22 PM Share Posted Monday at 11:22 PM Back in Gaga's earlier days she would collaborate with her Haus members to come up with fashion designs that would combine fashion and technology together. Then she would work with technicians and fashion designers to bring these ideas to life or she would wear clothes that featured technology created by fashion designers/companies. I always thought this was so cool and that it really showed Gaga's creativity, artistic spirit and love for artistic ideas in fashion. One of her goals was to combine fashion, technology, music and art in a multi-media way and I think this is a great example of that. I also think that it helped set Gaga apart from other people in the music industry at the time and helped suck her fans into the fantasy that she wanted to create for us. I wish that some of those ideas and pieces got used more often but it was so cool to see at the time anyway. I miss that too..she mostly collaborates with Michael now and he's listed as her stylist, I don't see him bringing something like the living dress happening unless he has a MFA in fashion or theatre design we don't know about. Been a fan since 2008 and I can safely say that a lot of the looks from the MAYHEM era piss all over most of these looks except for the Living Dress. Also are we forgetting this masterpiece?
